Happy Holi: Save water awareness video by Goldmedal

On the occasion of Holi, Goldmedal had launched a thought-provoking video on the importance of saving water and curbing water wastage. The video, conceptualised by Creative Balcony, was created to share a simple idea: Water has a direct relation with everything that’s positive in life. Without water there can be no joy and happiness and therefore must be used judiciously. According to reports, over 150 lakh litres of water is wasted every Holi and a recent study by WaterAid revealed that an estimated 163 million people lack access to clean water. Through this engaging video that showcases the difficulties that people undergo, especially in smaller towns and cities, Goldmedal encouraged citizens to consciously make an effort to not waste water, and use water responsibly.

The video was very well received on social media which reached more than 1 million viewers. Many Instagram personalities like @dixitapatell and @preethiprabhudotcom took part in the promotion of this important social message.
