A run for a cancer-aware and fitter Mumbai

On a cold February morning, over three thousand fitness-conscious Mumbaikars of all ages assembled at the Malad Mindspace area to run a race for a fitter Mumbai. Depending on their choice, they ran the 3Km, 5Km or 10Km race on the wide, well-laid out roads of Malad with full enthusiasm. As a key sponsor of the event, Goldmedal not only supported the event in various ways, their Managing Directors were also present to cheer the participants!

The event also had Bollywood star and GSC-member Taapsee Pannu flagging off the event. Held on the eve of World Cancer Day, the GSC race aimed to spread awareness of cancer amongst citizens. At the end of the run, participants rushed to click their snaps on the Goldmedal selfie wall. Post-run events included live Zumba, a sumptuous breakfast for all participants and the prize distribution ceremony.
